Allison Raskin Bio

Allison Beth Raskin, an American mental health advocate as well as a comedian-writer on YouTube, is a writer. Her previous position was journalist for BuzzFeed Video. She left the organization in 2015 and launched her own Comedy YouTube channel Just Between Us with Gabe Dunn who is a writer with whom she collaborates. Raskin was born June 20, 1989 on the 20th of June in Manhattan, New York, to Jewish family of Jewish descent. She was a student at the University of Southern California, where she received a bachelor's degree in the fine arts. Jamin Ben Raskin, born December 13, 1963 is an American attorney and law professor who served as Congressman for the U.S. congressman for Maryland's eighth congressional district, since the year 2017. The law professor was the main prosecutor in the impeachment of Trump. Rep. Jamie Raskin has chosen not to seek Maryland's open Senate seat and instead will run for re-election to the House where he hopes to become the chair of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee. It is located near Washington, D.C., the 8th District encompasses some of the most affluent suburbs within the inner-ring, such as Bethesda, Chevy Chase, and Potomac. The district is also home to several other more multi-cultural and economically driven neighborhoods. Rockville and Silver Spring are two of the most populated.
